Making money from your blog, while not the hardest thing you’ve ever done, may well not be the easiest either!

Just starting out online? My suggestion to you is to start off with a free Blogger blog. Blogger is now owned by Google, so monetizing with AdSense is very easy to do.

The best way to get to blogging is with your own hosted blog from Wordpress.org. The feeling is these hosted blogs get “more respect” so to speak from the search engines, and I feel there is some truth to this. If you don’t want to part with about $10.00 a month for hosting (cheap!) than a Blogger blog where it’s at.

Regardless of which platform you decide to use, the best way to start (I think) is to choose a niche (the subject of your blog) that you have some interest in, or better yet are passionate about. This will make writing content (the hardest part for me) for your new blog much easier. Think about it, if you know your subject matter well you don’t have to do much research (if any), you will be able to just write, and that my friend will make your blogging sooo much easier!

You want to make money from your blog right? The best way to make sure this happens is to choose a niche with “eager to buy” visitors. Think like your visitors and figure out what they are likely to buy online, and than you simply supply that need on your blog. Get this right (it doesn’t always happen) and you can turn you’re little blog into a money making machine!

So you want to work from your home and make some extra money online? There are many ways to accomplish this, but I think starting your own blog is the best way! This way you will have an online presents, and will have to do some writing, (which you had better get used to.)

You can take your little blog to new levels by sharing your passion for your niche with others, and building a community of like-minded individuals.This can open up other money making possibilities and show you as the go-to guy or expert in your niche. keep your online dealings with people above board and honest, and you can build a long term sustainable income.

Remember blogging can be fun, so relax and try to enjoy it. You may find you want to expand and start another blog…and another…and who knows this could be the start of something big!
