Mrs. Brown, You’ve got a Lovely Daughter - A ridiculous reprieve for a film, with Herman and his Hermits heading for London to enter their greyhound in a race. In between the expectation they harmonize “There’s a Sort of Quiet All around the Planet” Cast includes Herman’s Hermits, Stanley Holloway, Mona Washbourne, Sara Caldwell, and Javelin Percival. (100 minutes,’84)

Borderline - Strange thriller comedy in which L.A. cop Trevor tries to assemble proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out favorably, although eventually slows down in silliness. Burr makes a articulate scoundrel.The cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts. (88 minutes,’50)

Fantomas against Scotland Yard - Cynical cliffhanger-type venture story, with Marais as wonderful felon involved in sports orientated adventures. Cast includes Jean Marais, Louis De Funes, Mylene Demongeot, and Henri Serre. (104 minutes,’66)

Dingo - An out of the blue appearance by jazz trumpeter Billy Cross (Davis) in a youngster’s rural town empowers him to become a musician himself. Now grown up, he still fantasies of playing for a living and honoring his lifelong hero. This friendly but dull paced storyline is kindled by Miles Davis’ dynamic presence and fawning behavior. Cast includes Colin Friels, Miles Davis, Helen Buday, Joe Petruzzi, Bernadette Lafont, and Bernard Fresson. (108 minutes,’91)
